Adekunle Abiodun Michael popularly known as Zikid Spiritual is a singer, producer and song writer with so much social media attention and love. He opened up on how the music industry is filled with politics instead of neutrality.
Born into the family of Mr & Mrs Adekunle in the early 1990s December hails from Ondo state, Nigeria where he had his secondary school but early life in Abuja, Nigeria.
The norm in Nigeria is when an individual carries a name with an attachment of “Spiritual” many feel it could be for diabolical reasons, but he further cleared the air on how far his coined name is far from that thought. This notion of maybe my spirituality is a cheat on my success rate is really funny and I would love to speak against that.
With the enormous social media attention ZIKID SPIRITUAL is getting from most popular Nigerian pages, Zikid has gotten lots pf criticism and support. Some of this criticism end up converting to the love for his craft I the music industry. But this also put him on the seat of envy as many feel his attention is money powered, especially as Zikid is an unsigned artiste.

Well, it’s being a rough journey but I’m grateful I’ve being able accomplish some stuff, my music has been able to reach mostly all corners of the country, performed on several stages with some popular acts in the country.
But the issue of how some particular set of people determines who wins big or who gets noticed, especially for upcoming artiste is really unfair, as this kills the neutrality of what the industry has for the consumers
