The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three suspects – Taiwo Olayinka, 30, Azeez Sodiq, 33 and Saheed Moonstruck, 23 – for attempted kidnapping of a car dealer.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest in an X post on Wednesday.
It was learnt that the incident occurred at Ebute Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu area of the state on Tuesday, August 20.

A video which circulated on the X platform shows the three suspects beaten up and completely stripped while pleading for their lives.
Hundeyin confirmed the arrest of the suspects shown in the video.
“Three suspects, Taiwo Olayinka 30, Azeez Sodiq 33 and Saheed Moonstruck 23, have been in our custody since yesterday, shortly after the incident, and efforts are on to arrest the remaining two suspects that escaped.
“Meanwhile, investigation has commenced,” he said.
