Police, Customs deepen partnership to boost economy, security

In a strategic move to enhance inter-agency collaboration and fortify national security, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, visited Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC) Abdullahi Maiwada, National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, on Tuesday, at the Customs headquarters in Abuja.

During the visit, Olumuyiwa Adejobi emphasised the critical importance of collaboration between the two security agencies.

“Our roles as security agencies are pivotal to ensuring national security and economic stability. By working together, we can more effectively discharge our responsibilities and serve the public with greater efficiency,” Adejobi remarked.

Maiwada responded with enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of the visit. “This visit marks a crucial step towards strengthening our relationship with the Nigeria Police Force. Our combined efforts will undoubtedly enhance our operational efficiency and public service delivery,” he stated.
