A total of 326 suspects have been arrested by the Kano State Police Command following the violence that erupted in some parts of the state during the nationwide #endbadgovernance# protest.
Spokesperson of the command, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa. gave the breakdown of the arrests during a briefing at the Bompai Police headquarters on Friday.
He disclosed that the suspects were arrested with property stolen from shops, super -markets and personal residents of their victims

He explained that the suspects consisted of young, matured and even female suspects while urging parents and guardians in the state to help return items suspected to have been stolen by their wards
He disclosed that they seized a large quantity of stolen items during the protest adding that all the suspects would be charged to court for prosecution after investigation.
He appreciated the state government for imposing a 24 hour curfew and ppealed to enemies of the state trying to incite the people or spread news to desist. End.
