Luck ran out for two suspected kidnappers who allegedly abducted two doctors, Abu Ibrahim and his brother, Abu Tahir, as they were arrested at the Edo State University Teaching Hospital, Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area.
During the kidnap saga, Abu Tahir was killed in captivity by the abductors.
The suspects were said to have been arrested in the early hours of yesterday at the hospital, following their recognition by Ibrahim.
They were said to have visited the hospital to check on one of them who is receiving medical treatment at the emergency ward when Ibrahim identified them as some of those who kidnapped him.
It was learnt that the two suspects were recently sighted in Auchi town with two people in soldier uniform guiding them.

Reacting to the arrest of the suspects, Alhaji Rilwanu Bonvist Oshiobugie and the Daudu of Igbe, Chief Yekini Sado, described it as a major breakthrough against a kidnapping syndicate in Auchi and called for a thorough investigation to unravel those behind the incessant kidnapping in Auchi and Edo North.
They commended the efforts of Governor Monday Okpebholo, saying they are now yielding positive results.
Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, has ordered the transfer of the suspects to the State Police Command Headquarters in Benin.
Spokesman of the Command, Eno Ikoedem, in a statement, identified the suspects as Idris Abubakar and Sani Abubakar.
The two medical doctors were kidnapped in January at Igbira camp in Auchi.
