The preparation of the Nigeria’s Super Falcons for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games received a big boost on Sunday afternoon as injured Ashleigh Plumptre back in training, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The utility defender has been out of action in the past months due to injury she sustained while representing her Saudi club.
She resumed training with gym work and other conditions training and she’s expected to be back in team training before the end of the week.
Her resumption will gladden the heart of coach Randy Waldrum as he continues the team’s readiness for the Olympics.
Plumptre is among the players expected to be part of the team to France for the ancient games.
