Plateau: NUJ felicitates with Mutfwang at 59

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau State Council has sent a message of fraternity to Governor Caleb Mutfwang on the occasion of his 59th birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed by Chairman, Ayuku Pwaspo and Secretary, Mary Domtur, the union expressed delight at the governor’s leadership style and his achievements so far barely one year in office.

The message read, “The executive and members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Plateau state council, join the family, associates and the good people of Plateau State to felicitate with the Executive Governor of the State, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang on the occasion of his 59th Birthday celebration.

“The NUJ Plateau State is proud of your visionary leadership and commitment to change the narrative as witnessed in the remarkable achievement in infrastructural development in less than a year.

“Worthy of mention is the urban-city road rehabilitation, city rail transport system, and the provision of Tin City Metro bus to ease the hardship, payment of arrears of gratuity spanning thirty eight years and interventions in the Agricultural sector.

“The union is glad with the efforts of His Excellency in boosting sporting activities which has put Plateau United amongst the top four in National Premier League.

“Your Excellency’s pragmatic approach in uniting Plateau people irrespective of tribe, religion and political sentiment is indeed a great step in restoring the dignity Plateau State is Known for.

“Your Excellency, we pray that your your tenure will witness the needed peace, development and progress the people of Plateau yearn for.

“May God uphold you and grant you wisdom, good health and the grace to continue to serve Him for the good people of Plateau State and humanity.

“Happy Birthday and many happy returns, Your Excellency.”
