Plateau State Association USA, Inc. (PSA-USA), a group of Plateau indigenes living in the United States of America, has congratulated Governor-elect Caleb Mutfwang of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and charged him to lead an effective and inclusive government that reflects the will of the people.

In a congratulatory letter addressed to Mr Mutfwang and signed by the PSA-USA National President, Dr Barth Shepkong, the group urged the new governor to work towards building a better, united and more inclusive Plateau State.

The letter, which was made available to newsmen in Abuja, also acknowledged the sacrifices made by Mr Mutfwang in serving the state and wished him God’s guidance, strength, and direction to deliver on his mandate.

The PSA-USA also congratulated the Labour Party governorship candidate, Dr Patrick Dakum, and his deputy, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, for running exemplary campaigns.

The group’s message to Mr Mutfwang read: “The people of Plateau have spoken! We are aware that your service to the state does not come without sacrifice. We wish you God’s guidance, strength, direction, and wisdom to deliver on your mandate to the people of Plateau. We look forward to an effective and inclusive government that reflects the will of the people.”
