A conglomeration of Christian Youths on the Plateau (CYP), Jos North Branch, has endorsed the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency of Plateau State as their sole candidate for the Saturday Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The youths who turned out in their number on Wednesday said they have interface with all the candidates for the House of representative seat and found that Hon. Musa Agah, who has stood for Plateau people possessed the credentials and experienced to represent the constituency.
Chairman of the Youths, Evangelist Joshua Gamada who presented letter of endorsement to Hon. Agah in Jos said the decision is coming after a thorough research and wide consultation among various stakeholders in the Constituency.
He said, “Your acceptability as the most preferred candidate among the ethnic youths nationalities and other tribes/residence of Jos North and Bassa constituency.
“Your credibility and wealth of experienced in legislative matters at both state and National Assembly is equal to none. Your resilience in speaking out and standing with your constituents during their trying moments was outstanding.
“Your acceptability and availability to your constituents at different levels in Bassa and Jos North is remarkable. Your quality representation and good track record of achievement within a short time of being at the National Assembly was commendable.
” It is on this premised that we hereby endorse you as our unanimous candidate for member, Federal House of representatives for Bassa/Jos North for the 2023 general elections.”
Chairman Youth CAN, Jos North, Mr. Haggai Bitrus Sorongi said their support and declaration for Hon. Agah was out of the the testimony of his outstanding performance at the state and National Assembly.
“We have look at the credentials of all the candidates of various political parties that are contesting for this seat and we found that Musa Agah supersede others and has the requirement to be there.
“One of it is the experienced that he has acquired over the years in the State House of Assembly and the few period he was at the National Assembly and we felt he would be able to do better.”
