According to reports from our corespondent at the scene of the proposed protest, armed policemen have taken over the National Stadium Lagos ahead of the planned protest today.
The gate has been reportedly closed with the security operatives taking over the road leading to the stadium and refusing citizens from entering the venue. See pictures below:
