Launched in April 2022 by Accelerate, in partnership with Access Bank and The School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, The Phoenix Project has emerged as a catalyst for training and mentoring young talents and igniting a creative revolution in the country.
Since its inception, the Phoenix Project has provided an opportunity for young Nigerians with a passion for creativity, offering a range of courses from film and production to vlogging, to the business of entertainment, providing a comprehensive platform for emerging artists, entrepreneurs and visionaries to explore their potential.
Two cohorts in The Phoenix Project have witnessed the meteoric rise of young trailblazers in diverse industries. From the melodies of music to the mesmerising allure of film and comedy, from the glitzy catwalks of fashion to the dynamic arena of business, these talents are leaving a mark on the global stage.
Amidst a backdrop of youth unemployment and limited oppourtunities, The Phoenix Project remains unwavering in its commitment to nurturing budding creatives. With steadfast support from its partners, Access Bank and an unquenchable thirst for excellence, it shines as a guiding light in a challenging landscape. The CEO of Accelerate, Colette Otusheso, expressed her excitement during the recent graduation ceremony, saying, “We’re thrilled about the graduation of our second cohort of learners.
