The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Samuel Anyanwu, on Saturday announced the suspension of the party’s National Chairman, Umar Damagum, and Deputy National Chairman, South, Taofeek Arapaja, over alleged anti-party activities.
Anyanwu, who said the decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC), also announced the suspension of the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, and Deputy National Secretary, Setonji Koshoedo.

He said that all the affected party leaders have been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee.
Recall that earlier in the day, the NWC chaired by Damagum, after a meeting, announced the suspension of Anyanwu, the National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade, and Deputy National Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha, for alleged anti-party activities.
