PalmPay, one of Africa’s neobanks and fintech platforms, is celebrating six years of delivering trusted digital banking solutions to millions of Nigerians. With a customer base exceeding 35 million, the company is commemorating this milestone with a series of initiatives that highlight the role of users in its growth journey.

Launched in 2019, PalmPay has evolved from processing its first transaction into powering millions daily. Over the years, it has supported small and medium enterprises, helped families achieve financial goals, and simplified everyday money management. The company credits its success to the loyalty and trust of its users, which continues to drive its mission of making financial services simpler, safer, and more inclusive.

“PalmPay was built on the belief that banking should be accessible, secure, and rewarding,” said Chika Nwosu, Managing Director of PalmPay. “Our users’ stories remind us that our work is not just about technology, but about enabling smarter banking habits tailored to their needs.”

To mark the anniversary, PalmPay has unveiled the Lucky Wish Campaign, running from September 12–29, 2025. The initiative will feature user stories, share impact data, and reward loyal customers with prizes such as Apple AirPods, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the Samsung A16.

The company is also continuing its Hustle Grant Campaign, designed to empower entrepreneurs leveraging PalmPay’s solutions. Nine winners will be announced in phases, with the final set revealed on September 26. Each winner will receive ₦500,000 in business funding, further reflecting PalmPay’s commitment to supporting growth and innovation among its users.

As it looks to the future, PalmPay said it will remain focused on building smarter, more inclusive banking experiences while deepening its impact across Nigeria and beyond.
