A Deputy Superintendent of Police, Olushola Olayinka Ayanlade has been appointed as substantive Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Oyo State Police Command.
The command made the announcement in a Tuesday statement signed by Deputy PPRO, DSP Ayotunde Okunnuga on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.
Ayanlade previously served as Ondo PPRO before his redeployment to Oyo.
An alumnus of Nigeria Police Academy Wudil Kano State, member of Regular Course Two (RC2), where he bagged B.sc in Sociology in 2019, Ayanlade enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on December 19, 2019.
The PPRO is a seasoned detective who has served in various capacities as an operations officer and departmental team leader.
Ayanlade is a member of several professional bodies, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), United States of America, and the International Association of Crime Analysts, USA (Kansas).
He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), FCT, Abuja.
The PPRO holds a Master’s degree in Criminology & Security Studies, and has attended several professional courses, including Cyber Diplomacy; UN Disarmament Education (UNDE); Police Mobile Combat Training at Ila-Orangun, Osun State; Anti-Corruption Course by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC); and Outstanding Transnational Organised Crime by UNODC.
