Security expert, Chief Ajayi Owolabi, has called on the people of Lagos and Ogun states to support the second term bids of Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dapo Abiodun following sterling performance in their first term.
He equally appealed to the people to vote Gbolahan Ogunleye Adetokunbo and Adebiyi Adeleke as members of the Lagos House Assembly and Ogun State House of Assembly respectively.
Owolabi said, “in his first four years, Sanwo-Olu has taken Lagos to the next level. His major achievements being the construction of
Gberigbe Road, red and blue rail lines as well as the revamping of water transport with high capacity boats acquired by the Lagos StateFerry Services (LAGFERRY).”
According to him the people of Gberigbe and adjoining communities in Ikorodu area of Lagos State have heaved a sigh of relief as the Lagos State Government under Sanwo-Olu reconnected the cut-off point and repaired the bad portion of the road leading to the community as well as opened up same to traffic.
Owolabi noted that Sanwo-Olu’s administration also constructed more than 308 roads among which were the Pen Cinema flyover, Lekki-Epe-Ibeju road expansion and the Lekki-VGC regional road.
Speaking with newsmen, Owolabi said Prince Dapo Abiodun is a tested
and trusted leader who would move the Gateway state to greater heights
of growth and development.
Owolabi said the cargo airport, when completed, will enhance
the economic prosperity of the Ogun State and lift many residents out
of poverty.
“He has moved around the state, he knows the people and the people
know him. He is a man that treasures his words and his promises are
sacred to him. He is going to actualize all his campaign promises.
With Prince Dapo Abiodun as governor, Ogun State will be in good
hands,’’ he added.
