Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has said that Owerri, the capital of the state, was now the fastest growing city in the country.
The governor stated this, on Monday, as he conducted top journalists in the country round some projects he had constructed in the state in the last six years.
It was also part of activities marking the governor’s 55th birthday.
Governor Okorocha, who began by conducting the journalists round the remodelled Government House, said he had completed all the projects in the place contrary to claims that he is leaving abandoned projects.
Projects seen so far are the Governors Lodge, Chapel, Government House Clinic and the Eze Imo Palace.
