Otti commissions 3 roads in Aba, restates commiment to fulfilling campaign promises

Governor Alex Otti at the weekend, commissioned three roads in Aba, the state’s commercial, with assurance to fulfilling his campaign promises.

The commissioned roads include Emelogu, Shallom and Cemetry phase 1. All were reconstructed with solar street lights.

Speaking at the commissioning sites, Otti reassured the people of his commiment to fulfilling his campaign promises.

He said his administration was investing in road infrastructure because good road network was a huge enabler in economic development

The Governor, who assured that he would maintain the confidence the people repose on him said he would develop Aba in line with his campaign promises.

He explained that Aba needed to be opened up with good infracstructure and enabling environment that would support the social and economic lives of the people, which his administration was committed to doing.

The Governor explained that the Cemetry Market Road has not been used for over 20 years as a result of its deplorable condition and said his government was committed to puting to an end, activities of touts in the markets.

Otti later commissioned the Emelogu Road where he promised that a water fountain would soon be fixed at the round about.

The Commissioner for Works, Don Oti said giving adequate attention to road infrastructure was paramount to the Otti led administration.

President, Aba Chamber of Çommerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA), Chief Jerry Kalu, thanked the Governor for rehabilitating the roads and pledge their support.
