The Traditional Religion Worshippers Association of Osun State (TRWASO), has warned Governor Ademola Adeleke, to be careful with some associates who will want him to fail.

The association in the 2024 New Year prayer session held at the government secretariat, Abere, Osogbo, on Wednesday, also warned the governor to take care of his health.

The Vice President of TRWASO, Chief Fagbenle Adedayo, who read the Ifa divination/sermon for the year 2024, warned the governor to be vigilant because some of his followers would want to mislead him, and he should be careful with women.

“Ifa advises Mr. Governor to take good care of his health and know what legacy he wishes to leave behind. Whether a single term or 8 years in office, he will leave and his name will be remembered as a one-time governor of Osun State.

“Ifa says some politicians or associates of Mr. Governor would be embarrassed by his successes and see that as a way to a second term in office. They will not be comfortable with his strides and therefore offer him ill advice. They will deliberately make him take decisions that will jeopardize the good work done so far. He will now be left alone to face the music from the masses. The plot is to expose him as the wonder Governor who has failed. There is a lot of envy from within and not only from opposition,” Adedayo said.

In his address, Adeleke who was represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, preached religious tolerance among people of different faiths.

He stated that the government should recognize Isese worshippers as they recognized the two religions in the country.

According to him, “If the government is promoting the two religions, why is Isese not promoted? The FG should recognize men and women in Isese and give them their lives responsibility.

The two religions said everybody should be given their rights, why do we have to fight? Religious tolerance is important. It should start from the top because if there is any problem, those at the top level of religion usually cause it.

“We all have religion in our family. If you now choose another religion because of exposure, face it and stop abusing other religions,” Adewusi said.
