Osun: Police teargas protesters, journalists as judiciary workers declare indefinite strike

Policemen on Wednesday dispatched protesters in front of the Osun State High Court, Osogbo, and journalists with teargas.

This led to the declaration of indefinite strike by the judiciary workers led by Comrade Gbenga Eludire, the chairman of Judiciary Staff Union (JUSUN), in the state.

Eludire stated that the Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Ojo has declared war against the workers, they should withdraw their service from their respective stations.

“Following the action of the police and attitude of the Chief Judge, I, Comrade Gbenga Eludire, hereby ordered that workers in the sector should withdraw their service till further notice,” Eludire said.
