Market men and women under the association of Babalojas and Iyalojas of Osogbo and Olorunda Local Government Areas of Osun State, have endorsed Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term.
They called on traders across the state to unite and be ready to ensure re-election of Adeleke to enable him continue the good work he started in the state.
Highlighting the 29 road projects constructed by Adeleke’s administration, the Babaloja of Orisunbare market, Adeoti Qamardeen, who spoke on behalf of Babaloja General, Chief David Ojo, in Osogbo , on Friday, explained that the decision to endorse Adeleke for second term was hinged on the achievements recorded in raising the standard of economy of the state.
“Since assuming office, Governor Adeleke has demonstrated visionary leadership and an unrelenting commitment to the economic development of Osun State particularly in the area of trade and commerce, which is the heart of our association’s interests.
“Under his administration, several key road infrastructure projects have been initiated and completed, directly benefiting market accessibility, local transportation, and commercial activities.
“As we approach the 2026 Governorship Election, we wholeheartedly endorse Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term. We are confident that his continued leadership will elevate Osun State to even greater heights in development, unity, and prosperity.
“We call on all traders, shop owners, market men and women across Osun State to stand united and support the re-election of Senator Adeleke, a leader who has consistently demonstrated his commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of our people,” Qamardeen added.
