Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 embarks on outreach project

▪ Gives financial support to 90 nursing mothers, patients

Some constituents of Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 under the umbrella of Constituency Forum have embarked on a project to provide support to nursing mothers, patients and vulnerables in Isolo and Ejigbo communities.
Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 is one of the 40 state constituencies in Lagos State.
A statement issued by its Media Office, said that more than 90 individuals benefited from the financial support project, targeting nursing mothers, patients, and newly delivered mothers.
Part of the statement said: “The initiative is aimed at alleviating the financial burden and promoting the well-being of residents within the communities.
“Mrs. Hassan, the Nurse in charge, expressed gratitude for the gesture displayed by the Forum. She acknowledged the impact of the initiative on the patients’ well-being and assured the team of the health centre’s commitment to delivering quality services to the residents of Ejigbo LCDA, and the constituency as a whole.
“The project achieved its goal of providing financial support to each beneficiary, and bringing joy to them. The positive feedback from Mrs Hassan and the appreciation shown by the community members underscored the significance of such initiatives in promoting community welfare and fostering a sense of solidarity within the constituency.
“The Forum remains committed to serving the needs of the Isolo and Ejigbo communities. Future outreach projects will continue to focus on addressing key issues and improving the well-being of residents. Through collaborative efforts and community engagement, the Forum endeavours to create positive change and uplift the lives of all constituents.
“The outreach project in Isolo and Ejigbo was a testament to the Forum’s dedication to serving the community. By providing support to those in need, the Forum demonstrated its commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of constituents. Moving forward, similar initiatives will be pursued to further enhance the welfare and happiness of residents in the constituency.
“The team, consisting of Hon Olamilekan, Hon. Alade Michael, Kola Ogunyemi, and Miss Ayomide, visited the Iyana Ejigbo Primary Health Care Centre to extend financial support to beneficiaries.”
