Executive Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area, Enugu State, Dr. Ibenaku Onoh, has praised Governor Peter Mbah over the ongoing urban renewal in the state.

He described the governor’s recent flag-off of the construction of 141 urban roads as practical steps towards turning State capital into a modern, well-connected city.

Onoh in a statement in Enugu, said that the projects, which cover 72 roads in Enugu North Local Government, reflected the Governor’s clear focus on improving the lives of residents through infrastructural development.

He noted that the roads are spread across the 13 political wards in Enugu North, adding that the construction will ease movement, boost economic activities, and change the face of communities positively.

He stated that the roads are very important to both residents and businesses.

Onoh further said that the people of Enugu North Local Government now have better access to schools, markets, hospitals, and other key services.

He thanked Governor Mbah for listening to the yearnings of the people and taking concrete action to address long-standing infrastructural gaps.

He assured the Governor of the continued support of the people of Enugu North, as he drove meaningful growth and development across the state.

“It is clear that this project will touch every corner of Enugu North, making sure no ward is left behind. The selection of roads shows the Governor’s careful attention to areas where development has been long overdue.

“Our people will now enjoy better access to schools, markets, hospitals, and other vital services.
