Top showbiz stars numbering well over hundred recently besieged the main auditorium of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, Anambra State, to celebrate birthday and thanksgiving with Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, aka Odumeje Indabosky D Lion.

For the entertainers, it was like homecoming to the church of Odumeje, who was inducted as AGN patron a few years ago. Notable among the stars that graced the occasion were Kanayo O. Kanayo, Emeka Enyiocha and AGN president, Emeka Rollas. Others were Steve Eboh, who acted as MC, Stan K, Emeka Ani, Emma Ehumadu, Maccollins Chidebe, and Jerry Amilo.

Aside the actors, prominent political figures that attended the event included former Anambra First Lady, Chief (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano; Chief Victor Umeh and his wife; Hon. Linda Chuba Ikpeazu and royal father’s from Alor, Orsu Ihite Ukwa and Ichida.

Speaking at the event, Kanayo O. Kanayo said: “Odumeje is a lion in the house of God and is very energetic. God packed a full transformer inside him that the devil runs faraway from him. I wish him a very happy birthday.”

Artistes who performed at the birthday ceremony included Amara O. Dan Dike, Osita Molokwu and Felix Ndukwe, while the church’s in-house choir, Intervention Choir, delivered a special rendition.

Highlights of the event were presentation of awards to Odumeje by several bodies including Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), which honoured him with the award of Christian Ecumenical Commander. To cap it all, the celebrant gave scholarship to an 11-year-old boy, who succeeded in mimicking him. He also gave bags of rice and cartons of noodles to widows and less privileged members of the public.
