The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has condemned the xenophobic attacks in South Africa and called for collective sanction by Africa countries.
A release by the monarch, made available to our Correspondent by his spokesperson, Alli Ibraheem, yesterday, described South Africa as a shame to Africa and urged President Bola Tinubu to impose heavy sanctions on South Africa, including recalling their respective Ambassador to the country.
Nigeria, being the giant of Africa, Oluwo noted that any attack on Nigerians or any black man is a collective attack on Africa and should be repelled with heavy sanctions.
He noted that the fatal attack of Nigerians and their businesses in South Africa has caused international embarrassment to Africa as a continent.
He urged President Tinubu to launch reprisal policies by recalling the Nigeria Ambassador to South Africa and call the South Africa Ambassador to Nigeria for explanation.
He charged Africans, most especially Nigerians, to stage a peaceful protest in front of South Africa Embaasy in their respective country as a form of solidarization in condemnation of the illicit attacks on Africans by Africans.
“South Africa has brought international embarrassment to themselves by attacking Nigerians and their businesses. Africans are free to stay anywhere on Africa soil. There is no justification to attack any Africa on Africa soil.
