The family of the late Joseph Nnodumene Okafor of Umuezechukwu kindred, Ngogwuju village, Ojoto, Obiofia, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State has announced the death of their matriarch, Ezinne (Mrs) Mercy Ukamaka Okafor Nee Anosa.
According to the family sources, the burial commences on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 by 5pm with service of songs at Emmanuel Frank Okafor’s compound, Ngogwugu villa.
Body leaves St. Charles Borromen Morgue for a brief stop-over at her father’s compound, the late Victor Anosa Akumili in Iruebenebee village nn Wednesday, April 12, 2023, and lying-in-state at her husband’s compound by 8am, thereafter burial service at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Ojoto, Obiofia by 10am.
A member of the Okafor’s family stated that condolences and entertainment will take place at Boys’ Secondary School, Ojoto, Obiofia immediately after interment and it continues on Thursday.
On Sunday, April 16, 2023 by 9am, there will be outing service and thanksgiving at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Ojoto, Obiofia.
