Coalition of Ogun State Students and Youths (COSSY) has congratulated Oluwafemi Ajayi, popularly known as FM Castro, on his emergence as the National President of the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS).
In a statement by the coalition’s national convener, Oladimeji Uthman, COSSY also congratulated the newly elected national executives and members of the Senate (Legislative Arm) following the successful elections held in Abeokuta, the state capital.
“Your emergence reflects the confidence reposed in you by Ogun State students nationwide and signals a new era of leadership and responsibility,” the statement read.
COSSY commended the democratic process and charged the new leadership to uphold the values of unity, transparency and accountability.
The coalition urged the executives to prioritise a student-centred administration that addresses welfare, academic advancement and the overall development of indigenous students across all campuses.
It called for synergy between the executive and legislative arms, advocating for progressive policies and people-oriented legislation to strengthen NAOSS as a formidable voice for students.
“As stakeholders in youth development, COSSY remains committed to collaboration, constructive engagement and supporting initiatives that promote peace and sustainable growth within the Ogun student community,” Uthman added.
