A Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Ifo Police Division in Ogun State, SP Kamordeen Olabisi, has disclosed why he facilitated the building of an ultra-modern office complex at the police division.
According to Olabisi who assumed duty as a DPO three months ago, he decided to embark on the project in order to meet the dire needs of the Ifo Police Division which lacked basic amenities.
The DPO, who made this known at the weekend in his remarks at the official inauguration of the complex by the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Abiodun Mustapha Alamutu, added that he named the edifice after the CP due to his exemplary leadership style as the number one police officer in the state.
While thanking the stakeholders in the Ifo community for their participation and support in the building of the project, he assured that he would continue to lead his men and officers to ensure the smooth operations of the station and maintain discipline.
He further promised to continue to show exemplary leadership and set a high standard for his peers, saying “the CP Alamutu DPO Office Complex serves as a model for future projects, demonstrating the potential for collaboration between law enforcement and the community”.
