A chieftain of the the All Progressives Congress (APC) and business tycoon, Chief Adeboye Quadri Amodemaja has endorsed Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, for the Ogun State governorship position ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to journalists over the weekend at his residence, Amodemaja affirmed that the lawmaker has the required administrative, legislative, and grassroots experience to govern the state.
The renowned business man highlighted Yayi’s professional background as a chartered accountant and financial expert, noting that these qualifications are essential for managing state resources effectively.
”Governance is serious business that requires financial discipline and strategic vision,” he stated.
He pointed to the infrastructural and human capital development projects led by Yayi, noting these initiatives have built support for him across different political and social groups in the state.
Addressing concerns from critics, Amodemaja said Yayi’s political network, developed over years of public service in both Lagos and Ogun states positions him to build on the achievements of the current administration across Ogun’s three senatorial districts.
He urged APC members, key stakeholders, and residents across Ogun State to unite behind his governorship bid.
”With Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi at the helm of affairs, Ogun State is securely poised for a transformative lease of life”,he said.
He assured that his leadership would bring desired sustainable economic growth, industrial expansion, and renewed hope for all citizens.
