Ogbeide Uwagboe was awarded with the Technology Impact Award at the prestigious National Technology Innovation Honors.

He noted Uwagboe’s influence across tech finance, enterprise innovation, and technology governance, and how his work has empowered teams, tools, and trust across the ecosystem.
A data scientist and technology policy advocate, Ogbeide Uwagboe is widely recognized for steering high-impact technology deployments, enabling regulatory modernization, and nurturing local tech capacity through inclusive design and knowledge sharing. His efforts have been central to developing scalable tech systems, intelligent financial infrastructure, and national data platforms that are driving improved accountability and cross-sector collaboration.
His voice also resonates internationally. He has represented Nigeria on panels at the Africa Fintech Summit and OECD technology Policy Forums, where he continues to advocate for technology designed through local insight, institutional foresight, and ethical implementation.
