Ogbaji Mary Chidinma, a graduate of Ebonyi State University has defeated 27 contestants to win Models on The Island Season 9 beauty pageant show in Lagos.
Ode Tokuwase Victoria emerged as first runner up while Chinonso Nwachukwu Ben was second runner up.
Chidinma went home with a car while Victoria and Ben went home with consolation prizes.
Chidinma said, ” 28 contestants battled for the grand prize and my experience in the house was fun and challenging.
” It was like a new beginning because I had never participated in a reality show. While we were in the house, I met smart and intelligent people. I learnt to be bold and be able speak to people without fear or being timid and our director taught the contestants to be the best wherever we find ourselves.
Victoria said ” I prepared my mind for the challenges ahead because when we got into the house, our director told us, this is not a comfort zone and I got used to the intrigues I’m the house.
” I prepared myself for the show because I feel where ever I am, I am always ready to learn. I am going to create a change in my environment by reaching out to widows and help them when they face challenges
Ben, who was the last man standing said, ” getting to this stage was fun because I never knew that I will emerge as the second runner up for the show.
” I learnt a lot from the show and it is all about working on your mind.
” I discovered that even with nothing, I can do something out if it. We were taught how to be creative and it has helped me slot. He said
