The movie “Obsession”, a blockbuster movie is set to hit the Nigerian and Ghanaian cinemas today.
The movie which was directed by Emmanuel Chidiebere Nwosu also known as Director Mo and produced by Vincent Tobi who is Chief Executive Officer of Vnation pictures had premiered last week Sunday with a host of actors and actresses present at the Blue Pictures Cinema at Onikan.
Written by Jennie Enna, the movie plot, focuses on the crack in John (Gideon Okeke) and Ashley’s (Benedicta Gaffah) marriage which is widened by the arrival of their strange neighbor Chloe (Munachi Abii).
Ashley tries to befriend her, unbeknownst to Ashley, Chloe has been seeing a psychologist for body dysmorphia and that sets off a chain of event. Shaffy Bello, Mercy Aigbe also played their role in this blockbuster movie.
Speaking on her role of the movie, Benedicta Gaffah, said the movie was her most challenging role while adding that she was satisfied with the role she played.
Her words, “Sometimes when they are about to shoot a home scene, I always ask them to clean my makeup because I want it to look real and I am also real like that when I’m at home not shooting a movie. I also want ladies watching me to feel confident in their natural face.
Yes, make up makes us women feel beautiful but its not everytime we use it especially if we are at home. So in this movie, that was only problem we had but the movie was a success”.
