National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 13 new academic programmes for Bingham University, located at Auta Balefi, Nasarawa State.
The newly approved programmes are B.A Theology, B.Sc Supply Chain Management, B.Sc Procurement Management, M.Sc Microbiology, Ph.D Microbiology.
Others are M.Sc Physiology, Ph.D Physiology, M.Sc Anatomy, Ph.D Anatomy, M.Sc Architecture, LL.M Law, Ph.D Law and PGD, Public Health.
Executive Secretary, NUC, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, conveyed the message in a letter to the management of the university.
NUC Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Noel Saliu, who signed the letter, on behalf of NUC Executive Secretary, congratulated the school management for meeting all the requirements that earned them the approval.
Director of Public Affairs of the university, Daburi Misal, in a statement, noted that the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. William Qurix, was happy to receive the news.
He congratulated the University Community for the remarkable achievement and charged them to continue to put in their best to the service of humanity.
