National Universities Commission (NUC) has fully accredited Bachelors of Science degrees in Architecture and Mathematics for the Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) in Imo State.

Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Ikechukwu Dozie, broke the news on Friday. The university had presented the two courses to the commission in the 2024 October/November accreditation exercise.

He stated the latest accreditation brought the total number of fully accredited programmes at the university to 17.

Dozie attributed the success recorded in the institution to the support provided by the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma. He also expressed gratitude to the university staff and students for making the feat possible.
