Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side quickly bounced back from a painful defeat to Shooting Stars at Ibadan to set themselves in motion for the league title, getting the business done in easy fashion.
In what was an anticipated result, they leveraged on their home advantage and the support of their passionate fans.
Only Enyimba, with nine titles, have won more NPFL championships than the Flying Antelopes, whose last triumph came in 2016.
They haven’t just won the league, they have also secured CAF champions slot for the next season.
