Notable African Music Awards 2025 Celebrates Africa’s Finest as Baba Fryo, DJ Kaywise, Fido Cleff, Danny S and Zeeno Foster Shine at NAMA 2025.
The Notable African Music Awards (NAMA) 2025 ceremony was held on December 13, 2025, at Angels Garden, Kilometer 20, Lekki–Epe Expressway, Ajah Lagos Nigeria, bringing together some of Africa’s most influential music stars, industry professionals, and dignitaries for a night of celebration and recognition.
The event honored excellence, creativity, and resilience across the African music industry, with awards presented in 23 competitive categories spanning multiple genres and professions within the music ecosystem.

Big Winners of the Night
Veteran Artist Baba Fryo and music icon Zeeno Foster were honored as Legends of the Year, celebrating their lasting impact on African music.
DJ Kaywise clinched the award for Notable DJ of the Year, while Danny S won Notable Song of the Year for his hit track “Omo Leli.”
Artist Ofego emerged as one of the biggest winners of the night, securing multiple awards including Notable Album of the Year and Notable Music Video of the Year for Girls Dem Daddy.
A Celebration of African Music Excellence
The 2025 edition of NAMA was expertly organized by Alongside Entertainment and proved to be one of the most talked-about music events of the year. The ceremony reinforced the awards’ mission to spotlight African talent and elevate the continent’s music industry on a global scale. Theme tagged ‘Shine Beyond’
Speaking at the event, Founder of NAMA Patrick Okereke, popularly known as DJ Oscar P, emphasized that music has always been an integral part of African culture and continues to evolve into a powerful global force.
Established to recognize and honor outstanding talent and contributions to the African music scene, the Notable African Music Awards remains a vital platform for celebrating creativity, innovation, and cultural excellence.
With another successful edition concluded, anticipation is already building for NAMA 2026.
