Nosa Obaseki Agbonifo, a seasoned actor, compere and producer currently based in Canada, has successfully made waves in his home state, Edo, with his recent concert, “Nosa Obaseki and Friends.” 

The event, a dazzling showcase of Edo’s entertainment talent, has ignited conversations about the state’s burgeoning creative scene.

Obaseki, whose passion for promoting Edo’s entertainment industry is evident, shared the inspiration behind the concert.

“It was the brainchild of my friend, Chief Mathew Oshodin, who reminded me of my consistent support for the industry. Given my contributions, he thought it was time to celebrate me and the talent from Edo,” Obaseki said.

The concert featured an impressive lineup of Edo-based artists, including Akobeghian, Hammerboi and Influence Akaba, among others.

Despite being based overseas, Obaseki’s deep-rooted connection to his home state enabled him to pull off this star-studded event.

“I’ve always been a strong advocate for Edo talent. My support transcends geographical boundaries,” he said.

The concert was a resounding success, drawing a massive crowd and creating a memorable night of music and entertainment.

“This was a first-of-its-kind event in Benin City, and it exceeded all expectations,” he gushed.

With the concert’s triumph, Obaseki has set his sights on making “Nosa Obaseki and Friends” an annual affair in Benin City.
