The Northern Youths Progressive Network has voiced its admiration for the recent strides made by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd (TSSNL) in safeguarding the nation’s oil and gas resources, particularly in the Niger Delta region.
According to Bala Mohammed, Convener of the Northern Youths Progressive Network in a press release sent to Daily Sun on Friday said, “Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd has exhibited commendable dedication in curbing crude oil theft and protecting our national assets.”
The group lauded the collaborative efforts between Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), especially in the joint operation that led to the dismantling of a crude oil theft operation in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
“We commend the joint operation that resulted in the destruction of 700 kegs containing 21,000 litres of crude oil,” stated Comr. Bala Mohammed. “Such actions are crucial in safeguarding our economic interests and preserving the integrity of our oil and gas sector.”
The Northern Youths Progressive Network emphasised the need for the Federal Government to demonstrate unwavering commitment in combating economic sabotage. “We call upon the Federal Government to exhibit genuine political will in prosecuting those involved in crude oil theft,” urged Bala Mohammed.
The group expressed confidence in the partnership between Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd and the government, citing the positive impact on the nation’s economy. “The engagement of Tompolo’s Tantita Security company has proven beneficial in restoring order to the oil and gas sector,” remarked Bala Mohammed.
Furthermore, the Northern Youths Progressive Network commended the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for their dedication and impartiality in protecting national assets. “We appreciate the selfless service of NSCDC personnel and their collaboration with Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd,” stated Comr. Bala Mohammed.
The group urged other security agencies operating in the oil-rich region to emulate the partnership model established by Tantita and NSCDC, emphasising the importance of creating a safe environment conducive to business growth and development.
