The management said the university has zero tolerance for the behaviours which undermine its values of excellence and integrity and would not hesitate to sanction anyone found guilty of any of the behaviours.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Daniel Nwachukwu, stated this at the university during the institution’s 14th matriculation ceremony, yesterday. A total of 5,227 newly admitted students were formally admitted into the university during the ceremony.
He told the students that the university was committed to creating a safe and supportive environment and implored them to uphold the highest standards of conduct and respect for one another, especially the staff and people of the host community.
Nwachukwu disclosed that the university shall introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its academic curriculum to ensure that the students are abreast with the dynamics of the emerging world.
