The Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA), has announced members of its Awards Decision Council (ADC), for this year’s edition of the event.

Comprising of distinguished marketing practitioners, drawn from brands, agencies, media, public relations, experiential, and regulation, the council, to be led by the CEO, Entod Marketing Ltd, Iquo Ukoh, is saddled with the responsibilities of safeguarding the awards’ transparency and rigour, while also setting benchmarks for creativity and marketing excellence in Nigeria.

The awards also, recently, received a boost when it secured a representation of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Tokunboh George-Taylor on its Council, bringing to six, the number of professional bodies on the Council.

Founder of the awards, Tony Agenmonmen, described the unveiling of the 2025 ADC and NIPR’s endorsement as marking another milestone in NMA’s journey at building the most credible marketing Award in the country.

“With the active participation of all the leading professional bodies in our ecosystem, the Nigerian Marketing Awards® stands as the most inclusive and credible platform to celebrate

marketing excellence,” he stated.

Agenmonmen added that one of the steps, taken by the organisers from inception, at ensuring credibility was to apply for, and secure the endorsement of the UK-based Independent Awards Standards Council (IASC), an international body that benchmarks awards processes against global best practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and integrity in all

stages of the awards.
