The inaugural edition, held in Lagos in 2024, attracted over 400 participants and 25 speakers, with discussions centered on the internet’s role in bridging creative industries and digital content. This year’s edition will expand the agenda to cover policy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, local content, and emerging technologies.

Chief Operating Officer, Seyi Onasanya, said NiRA’s work extends beyond domain management. “We are building a resilient internet ecosystem that supports startups, SMEs, public institutions, and innovators who will shape Nigeria’s digital future,” she noted.
Tech Convergence 2.0 will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, a startup showcase, and networking opportunities. Participation will be hybrid, with limited in-person attendance at the Lagos Osun Hall of the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, and virtual access via NiRA’s website and social media platforms.
