The family of late Beatrice Ifeoma Anekwe, wife of NIPCO Plc Chairman, Chief Bestman Anekwe KSM, has announced her funeral programme on Sunday.
The family, in a statement signed by Chike Anekwe, unveiled the programme, stating that the funeral would start with a vigil mass at her Abakaliki residence in Edda Close, Azuiyiokwu, Abakaliki on Monday, August 19, 2024.
On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, there will be a brief stopover at the Knights of St. Mulumba Hall in St. Theresa Parish. This will be followed by a funeral mass at St. Mulumba Catholic Church, Abakaliki, at 9 am.
Thereafter, a vigil mass will take place at her country home, Chief Bestman Paul Anekwe’s compound, Umuabu Village, Adazi Enu, Anaocha LGA, Anambra State, on August 22, 2024, at 5 pm.
On August 23, 2024, a funeral mass will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Adazi Enu, Anaocha LGA, Anambra State, at 10 am, followed by her interment at Chief Bestman Anekwe’s compound in Adazi-Enu.
Lady Beatrice, who died on Thursday, April 25, 2024, is survived by her husband, Bestman Anekwe, sons, and daughters.
She also leaves behind grandchildren, siblings, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
