Nigerians’ll soon reap benefits of Renewed Hope Agenda, says Umahi

Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has assured Nigerians that they would soon begin to reap dividends of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

“Very soon, Nigerians will see that the Renewed Hope administration of the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is on a mission to restore the hope of Nigerians for a prosperous future we can all be proud of within record time,” he said.

He gave the assurance upon his arrival from Cotonou, Republic of Benin, where he chaired a Steering Committee on the construction of Lagos-Abidjan Highway Corridor Development Project on Friday.

He also paid an unscheduled inspection visit to some ongoing Federal Road projects around Rivers State.

Some of the road projects inspected included the Enugu to Port Harcourt Section 4, Aba to Port Harcourt at Km 204 to Km 206 being undertaken by Messrs CCECC and the RCC section of the East West Road between Eleme junction and Onee Port.

He charged the Ministry’s engineers and consultants to be on their toes, and pay attention to every detail on the contract award, and ensure that certificates generated are accounted for.

He also charged the Ministry’s engineers, resident engineers, controllers and consultants to ensure that they are on the ground to monitor project details.
