Even as prices of food commodities soar daily, Nigerians have been advised to ensure that they live healthily by consuming fibre rich meals.

Marketing Director of MAF Canada Quick Oatmeal, Princess Oluwabukola Fasuyi, during an interactive session with newsmen in Lagos said fibre rich organic foods are complete food supplements that could help individuals lead a healthy life.

While making a case for MAF Canada Quick Oatmeal, Fasuyi, who is also the President of Proclips Media Communication Limited, said the oatmeal could be eaten as a swallow or breakfast and also has many health benefits.

Fasuyi who decried the low quality of food Nigerians consume, lamented that many of the food being eaten across Africa were being polluted with chemicals and other inorganic matters that could be injurious to human health.

“In the days of our forefathers, when they farm, there was nothing like fertilisers or chemicals, yet their food germinated well and gave them longevity.”

She, therefore, called on millions of Africans to see the pivotal role fibre organic rich food plays in healthy living.

As a way of empowering Nigerians financially with the MAF Canada Quick Oats Meal, Fasuyi said she had embarked on a drive to register 20,000 distributors and retailers across Nigeria.

She said plans were in top gear to make the product available in the 57 local government areas across Lagos and other states.
