Nigeria and the Kingdom of Morocco have raised the bar in their diplomatic relations.
The increased in cooperation between Nigeria and the Kingdom of Morocco, is sequel to the presentation of Letters of Credence by the Nigerian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Baba Garba.
Recall that the relations between Nigeria and Morocco, received a major boost with the three-day visit of King Mohammed VI of Morocco to Nigeria in December 2016.
During the visit, Nigeria and Morocco signed agreements to facilitate discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral and economic ties.
Sarah Sanda, media aide to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, in a statement made available to Daily Sun in Abuja, said following the presentation of letters of credence, Ambassador Garba embarked on wider consultations, promoting Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives and concretising the excellent relations between both countries.

“Ambassador Baba Garba presented his letters of credence to His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco in a colourful and impressive ceremony at the Royal Palace in Casablanca.
“Nigeria and Morocco enjoy increasingly cordial and respectful relations.
“With the presentation of letters of credence, Ambassador Garba embarked on wider consultations promoting Nigeria’s Foreign Policy objectives and concretising the excellent relations between our two great nations,” Sanda said.
Nigeria and Morocco, are currently working on a trans-Africa gas pipeline that is going to run along the coast of West Africa from Nigeria to Morocco.
Both countries are also cooperating in the area of production of fertilizer, establishing production plant to produce fertilizer and supply to West Africa.
