Nigeria’s dream team in the early hours of today defeated the Swedish team in the second group B encounter in the Olympic football event.
Sadiq scored the only goal of the match in favour of Nigeria, with many efforts that could have yielded goals wasted.
With the win, Nigeria has secured the needed six points in two matches. It earlier defeated Japan 5-4 in the opening match for the group.
