NIDO Africa to unite citizens in Ghana summit

Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Africa (NIDO Africa) has announced move to unite Nigerians in its upcoming annual general meeting, slated May 23-25, 2024 in Ghana.
NIDO Africa Interim Chairman, Mark Akuma, in a statement yesterday said the meeting would also celebrate the successful resolution of past internal conflicts which symbolises a new chapter of unity and collaboration for the organization.
He said: “The road to achieving this breakthrough has not been an easy one. “We are immensely grateful for the support and resilience that have led to the successful reuniting of our community.”
Also, NIDO Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, Calistus Elozieuwa, commended the Interim Committee for their dedicated efforts and urged all members to attend this landmark event.
In addition, Interim President of NIDO Ghana, Olayemi Akinwande, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Mohamadu Bawumia and Chairman/CEO of Nigeria in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, are expected to grace the AGM.
