The Nigeria Infrastructure Debt Fund (NIDF), sponsored by Chapel Hill Denham, has declared a distribution of N3.95 per unit for its unit-holders. The distribution, covering the period ending December 31, 2023, will be paid to unit holders whose names appear in its Register as at January 22, 2024.
According to a disclosure filed with the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), “The distribution will be paid – electronically to unit-holders who have completed the E-Mandate Form and authorized the Registrar to pay their distributions directly into their Bank accounts.”
NIDF successfully listed on the main board of the Exchange in October 2023 with 853.81 million units at N108.39 per unit and has since witnessed a 5.90 per cent increase currently at N114 per unit as the close of trade on Tuesday.
The Investment Committee of NIDF in December 2023 paid a special distribution of N6.55 per unit after it announced the positive impact of the sale of an asset.
The Fund in November 2023 also raised N11.58 billion via bond issuance through its Series 9 offer. The issuance was the Fund’s ninth (9th) capital raise since inception in 2017 and the first since its Listing on NGX. Its objective is to provide investors with regular, sustained, long-term distributions and to preserve capital over the long-term by generating exposure to Naira-denominated infrastructure debt in Nigeria, which generates regular and predictable long-term cash flows.
