NHN women network holds annual retreat in Qatar

By Adewale Banjo

Founded of NHN Women Network, a non-profit organisation and Chief Executive Officer of NHN Couture, Nkechi Ngonadi, has disclosed the network’s 9th annual retreat will take place, in Doha, Qatar, from October 24 to 31.

This year’s retreat, she said, is themed: “From Pain to Purpose.”

Ngonadi said the women network, guided by a divine calling to utilise social media for Kingdom purposes, has grown significantly since its inception.

“The network’s most prominent branch, NHN The Warroom, focuses on prayer, intercession, and activities that advance the Church of Christ and enhance the lives of humanity.

“The Warroom’s mission is to reach the world through prayers, interceding for lost souls and winning them to Christ.

“Over the years, the self-funded network has achieved remarkable milestones. It has reached over 12 million individuals through media, constructed three rural churches, supported students in eight Nigerian states with school fees, paid for JAMB forms in five rural states, assisted with hospital bills, and engaged in various economic empowerment programmes.

“Inspired by teachings from Matthew 6:33 and Job 42:10, the network dedicates two hours and 40 minutes daily to prayer and fasting, conducts regular meetings, quarterly fasting sessions, and annual events to further its mission.

“A key part of our activities is our annual retreat which aims to enhance the spiritual, physical, and mental wellness of its members, providing a rejuvenating experience where women can rest, unwind, and share their stories. The ultimate goal is to equip participants with the tools and inspiration needed to achieve victory in every life circumstance.”

Previous retreats, according her, have taken participants to incredible destinations such as Turkey, Dubai, London, and Singapore. The NHN founder said this year, the retreat in Doha will feature renowned speakers such as Femi Lazarus, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Oluchi Elkuris, and Christie Bature. Prophetic push sessions by Israel Olajumoke. Panel sessions with Amaka Chika Mbonu, Veekee James Atere, Catherine Abagun, Prudent Gabriel, Gusi Tobby LordWilliams, Delphine Nforgwei, and Obiamaka Oragwu.

There will be an afternoon tea party with guest speakers like Betty Irabor, Shaffy Bello, May Yul-Edochie,

Grace Ofure, BmGozie Udemezue, Uju Arinze Chukwuka, and Eden Onwuka, where survivors of trauma and loss will share their stories, offering encouragement and addressing remaining healing needs.

The theme: “From Pain to Purpose,” emphasises the journey each woman endures to become everything God has called her to be.

The retreat will focus on enduring trials, carrying burdens, facing exhaustion, and trusting the process, as encapsulated in 1 Peter 5:10. It promises to be a transformative experience where participants can gain strength, restoration, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The NHN Women Network Retreat in Doha promises to be an amazing time of spiritual renewal and fellowship.
