The NFF have dismissed reports that they have renewed the contract of Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro.
Peseiro’s one-year contract will run out at the end of this month.
A section of the local media reported this week that Peseiro has been given another short-term contract to lead the Super Eagles to the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire, which will be staged in January 2024.
“I am not aware that Peseiro’s contract has been renewed,” the NFF communications director Ademola Olajire told The Guardian.
“Such information will be released by the NFF when it happens.”
