A proposed Normalisation Committee for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is expected to have its tenure end on May 31, 2027, according to a report by UK-based Nigerian journalist Osasu Obayiuwana, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Obayiuwana disclosed that a highly reliable source confirmed the proposed tenure, which has reportedly been presented to the FIFA Council for approval.

The proposal, if approved, would set May 31, 2027, as the deadline for the committee to conclude its assignment.

The report also indicated that Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Patrice Motsepe is in agreement with the proposed arrangement.

However, the proposal is still subject to approval by the FIFA Council, and no official confirmation of its adoption has been provided in the information available.

Further details regarding the committee’s composition, mandate and plans for restoring normal football administration in Nigeria are yet to be confirmed.
